Millimeter GPS

LPS Local Positioning System

Combined the System Five and the 3D LPS (Local Positioning System)  and you have the only laser based 3D machine control on the market today. The 3D LPS is the perfect system when GPS signals are not available and fine grading is required. You can eliminate staking all together and control grade without a surveyor. With the self-tracking total station following the grader you will finish grades in record time. You can pre-install a 3D LPS System before delivery of your Komatsu grader. Designed specifically for site supervisors, inspectors and grade checkers, Carlson Grade Supervisor v1.0 offers affordable and easy-to-use software for day-to-day surface and grade management tasks. Grade Supervisor works either on the pole or in a vehicle, moving seamlessly from man rover (GPS pole) to monitor rover (pickup/ATV).

Both simple to learn and to use, Carlson Grade Supervisor v1.0 provides direct import of DWG files, DXF files, and machine control files, including tn3, gc3, and ln3. Supervisors can get daily, weekly, or anytime volumes, track real-time cut/fill, plus both collect and stake points. The software supports most all GPS/GNSS receivers and is Windows XP/Vista compatible.

“SMOOTHTRAC” Sonic Averaging System

Get the best of both worlds…the superior mat of an averaging ski, the flexibility of sonics. Replace your traditional drag ski and eliminate the time and hassle spent setting up and tearing down with the “no touch” Smoothtrac” sonic ski system.

Smoothtrac utilizes four Sonic Tracker II non-contacting sensors working in unison to provide superior averaging results while eliminating the cleaning and repair inherent in traditional skis.
